Mount Etna and Taormina – 11 hours

Departure from Palermo:

Expected arrival after about three hours at Mount Etna, Europe’s largest volcano, with a height of 3,357 meters above sea level and a World Heritage Site since 2013.

Stop at the famous Sapienza Refuge, located at 1,920 meters above sea level, the highest point reachable by car. There are bars, restaurants, and numerous attractions here, such as cable car rides, crater rides, and ATV excursions, ideal for adventure seekers.

It continues with a visit to Taormina, one of the region’s most prominent international tourist centers. Taormina is known for its natural landscape, maritime beauty, and historical monuments, including the Greek Theater, the Palace of the Dukes of Santo Stefano, Palazzo Corvaja, and the Cathedral of San Nicolò.
